My name is Leonie Velthuis, I’m 48 years old, and I live in Amersfoort with my husband Olaf, our daughter Lobke, and our little dog.
Travel is my biggest passion. I love discovering beautiful landscapes, new cultures, and surprising cuisines. Whether it’s a safari in Namibia, the jungle of Costa Rica, or the traditions of Japan – every trip feels unique. And as soon as there’s snow, you’ll find me on skis.
Rally driving is also a big part of who I am. Together with my husband I regularly get behind the wheel – I’m the navigator, mapping out the routes and making sure we collect the right letters along the way. It takes us to the most beautiful places and gives us unforgettable adventures.
I also enjoy good food and drinks with friends, I usually hit the gym three times a week, and every week you’ll find me on the sidelines at my daughter’s hockey games.
I’ve been working in digital for over 25 years – and I still enjoy it every day. For me, digital projects are never “just work”: they give me energy.
